Firefighters battle fire with help from thermal imaging cameras

The Manhatan Beach Firefighters on Friday 28th June at 5:55am used thermal imaging cameras to fight fire. Neighbors reported to have seen flames and smoke coming from the outside of a wall in a residential home.

On entry, the firefighters realized the house was filled with smoke. They searched the house thoroughly to be sure there was no one at home during the time of the fire. The thermal imaging cameras which they used helped them detect where exactly the fire was burning inside the wall and also on the floor of the second storey. Quickly, after that, the fire fighters cut open the walls and floor to put out the fire.
