FLIR Systems ordered to produce camera for worldwide counter-terrorism

FLIR Systems has announced that it has received a $16 million order from one of the largest users of the company’s successful Recon product line, an Asian government customer purposefully linked with the United States for its Recon B2-FO integrated dual-channel binoculars.

This order was purported for the provision of the high performance long-range handheld imaging systems for a counter-terrorism mission.

The President and CEO of FLIR, Andy Teich admitted that this order from this customer demonstrates the effectiveness of its thermal imagers as well as the strategy and long term relationships that has existed between them.
