Illegal immigrants flushed out using thermal imaging cameras

Slough borough council spends £24,000 on flights with the aim to build up an accurate 3D map of every building in Berkshire town. These flights are spy planes equipped with thermal imaging cameras. They have helped to catch illegal immigrants who are living in shed and garages.

Many illegal tenants are said to be paying high amounts to live in primordial conditions without heating or water.  The council however commissioned a geographic imaging company to produce a thermal map of the town which will reveal warm areas in outbuildings.
