Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) technology enhances FLIR thermal imaging cameras

As there has been a continuous demand for high quality thermal images, FLIR has introduced the Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) technology into many of its thermal imaging cameras.

A normal thermal image of the compressor

This new feature produces a detailed and texture-rich mages that help you to see more faults clearly. It inserts the digital image onto the thermal video or stills. For this reason there is no need for a separate digital image to support the thermal data.


Thermal Image of the same compressor but this time with MSX. Additional detail from the visual image can be seen inserted into the thermal image.
