This pinless moisture meter is a device that allows you to determine the moisture content of wood and other building materials. Extech MO280 is non-invasive in the sense that it does not use pins which may cause damage to the surface of the substrate which is being tested. The Extech moisture meter possesses some features that make it a reliable tool to work within a home, shop or any business premises. The Extech MO280 has 10 wood types and measurement ranges which can be selected on the LCD screen. The meter’s LCD also displays moisture content of the material under test in percentage.
