The Prem-i-air 685HEPA Remote Control HEPA air purifier filters in three stages….
The first stage is a pre-filter which removes large particle contaminants such as dust and pet dander.
The second stage is a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter which captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, these particles includes dust, dust mites, pollen, pet dander and smoke making the unit ideal for allergy sufferers.
The third stage of the filtration process is the Active Carbon filter, this removes odours.
As well as the filtration process the HEPA air purifier has a built in ioniser, the ioniser adds negative ions to the air which makes the air feel fresh and clean.
The unit is simple to use, there is a built in 8 hour timer with an auto shut off function. All modes for the unit are controllable with the remote control.
The unit has 3 fan speeds with a maximum decibel rating of 30 dB(a), on the lowest fan speed which is whisper quiet.
Regular filter replacement is a must for hygienic, trouble-free operation. The filter should be changed every 6 months.
